Why Mentoring

A great athlete named Joe Frazier said “We are all like the blind man at some point in our lives”. We are standing on the street corner waiting for somebody to lead us to the other side. At some point we need some help. We need someone to reach out to us to help us go across. There are some treacherous situations and circumstances that we cannot navigate by ourselves. None of us can do it by ourselves. All of us need that kind of help. We need that kind of assistance and we grow from the people we have in our lives. These are the type of people that can enrich our lives, personally, professionally, spiritually, and in all other dimensions in our lives. So if you look at yourself and whatever fears you may have, you might need some help to strengthen yourself in different areas. As you assess your strengths and your weaknesses, you begin to improve yourself, your passions, your dreams, your goals, and the things that you want. Then you have to decide if you want to experience all of your true potential, and to manifest all of your greatness. What else is available to me out here if I decide to experience the fear of rejection, fear of failure and the fear of standing by myself? Take a chance of losing it all. What else is available to me? What will bring some extra meaning and value to my life? Is it the fear of people not liking me? How many people do things they don’t want to do because they want everybody to like them? Especially if it’s not in line with other people’s thinking and might be seen as weird or strange. They don’t want to upset anybody. I don’t know what the secret of life is, but you can’t please everybody.

Excuse my special announcement! Everybody is not going to like you. It’s just not that kind of world. You probably notice a lot of people who won’t take a position on issues or take a stand for the things they believe in. These are the same people that don’t speak up for themselves because they don’t want to make anybody mad or upset. I don’t know all the secrets of success, but here’s what I do know. The secret of failure is trying to please everybody. You simply can’t please everybody. There are people that fear they will rock the boat, so they just go along with it. You don’t tend to feel good about yourself when that happens. Life is too short and unpredictable to mosey through it and try not to disturb anything, shake anything up or make any waves. Some people who come through the universe have a small level of contribution. The level of energy they manifest is so small and inconspicuous, that, when they die, nobody knows. But that’s not you, if you are reading this. Be the person that used their gifts to make a contribution to the world. Invest your time and energy and create an impact. I’m saying before you pass on, decide that you are going to use your gifts and conquer your fears. Decide you’re going to begin to live life on a new level and seek new horizons. Find more love and more ways to give more to life and love to the universe. I love the saying “Everything a man does for himself goes with him, but everything he does for others he leaves behind”.  When will you begin to say, what is it that I want to leave as my contribution? When you begin to make a difference and make a new life, the rest seems to fall into place. What are the chances I need to take? What list do I need to begin to embrace? What fears do I need to step on? Are you sick and tired of living like this, and know that there must be more? Now is the time to start living your dreams. Let me help fuel the fire within you and ignite your life. Contact me to get started today.

We honor our creator by taking our gifts and hammering them into a skill. Then we pour it on and we pour it on like nothing we have ever done before in our lives. We leaving nothing to chance.
